For Sony to compete with Apple’s iPhone, they approached Possible Worldwide to create a revolutionary new phone. Working closely together with Sony, the Xperia X10 was produced from concept to final product.
The engineering teams at Sony and Intel developed hardware including a haptic screen and 3D motion rendering, which allowed for groundbreaking UI motion design. This imaginative UI allowed the user to navigate their device in never seen before ways
.The Phone was an immediate success in Japan with Sony selling 120,000 models in the first three weeks. The Xperia X10 became the best-selling smartphone in the history of Japan’s largest carrier the NTT DoCoMo company.
